Being Frank In Alaska is more than just a blog; it's a heartfelt invitation into my life on the breathtaking Kenai Peninsula. Here, I share the ups and downs of living in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. From breathtaking vistas and wildlife encounters to local culture and traditions, every post is a slice of my life in Alaska.

Frank is the proud father of a beautiful daughter. He is the third of seven children and one of the shortest among giants. He proudly claims the title of being the ‘runt of the litter’. He has lived many places and done quite a few different things along the way. Frank is a graduate of Utah State University and is a fourth generation “True Aggie”. He is also a recovering ‘Chicago Cubs’ fan.
Frank enjoys fishing, being outdoors, panning for gold, drawing and illustrating, writing the next great American novel, reading, history, art (most kinds), maps, extra strength lemonade, hammocks, cooking from scratch, interesting cuisine, music, relaxation, interesting and uplifting conversation, old friends, new friends, and generally living as a good hobbit of the shire should. Except for once in a while going off on a grand adventure or two just because he can.
